What is your Service Area?

Rental Services with Calisto Stays are available globally. Our cleaning, maintenance and key holding services are currently available in the Dominican Republic, Spain and Miami. Our platform is designed to scale globally. If you are outside our current service area, please Request a Quote and we can provide options for you.

What services are included?

Calisto will create a property listing for your property with professional photography and property descriptions. Calisto will list your property on CalistoStays.com, Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Holidu and VRBO. Calisto will handle all aspects of rental management.

What are the onboarding costs?

Complimentary onboarding services include property inspection, listing creation and owner portal setup. Professional photography is billed at actual cost, but the cost can be deducted from the first booking. Additional services are avialable for an additional fee - Tourist License Assistance, Interior Design Projects, Utility Setup and Insurance Assistance.

What is the commission rate?

Calisto charges a commission of 20% of the rental amount. This fee covers the cost of 24/7 customer service, inquiry management, pricing optimization, client vetting, guest toiletries, contract management, payment collection, guest services, and cleaning & maintenance coordination.

Who pays for cleaning and maintenance?

Cleaning is always paid for by the guest, and is only paid by the owner in the event that they stay at the property. Maintenance is part of the general up-keep of the property and is paid for by the owner. The exception to that is if any damage is caused by guests. Basic cleaning tools such as a vacuum and a mop are provided by the owner. However, cleaning supplies are provided on an ongoing basis by Calisto.

How quickly are issued resolved?

Our team of concierges are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We aim to solve all maintenance issues within a few hours, with a team available for call-outs at all times. Major issues may take longer to resolve, but most requests are fully resolved within 24 hours.

Can I sort cleanings and maintenance myself?

Generally no. This is due to the difficulty in organizing third party maintenance on an urgent basis for guests. Delays cause unhappy guests and refunds. Having one provider of services maximizes profits of the property.

How quickly can my property be online?

A concierge will contact you within 24 hours of completing this request. Our total onboarding time is 3 to 7 working days depending on your photography needs.

Is my information secure?

Calisto is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of its customers and website users. We will never sell your information to a third party, and we are fully compliant with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
